Jay Waltz I reached the five minute mark of ‘Void Of Turmoil’ and I was blown away. The vocals are well placed without overshadowing the music. Perfectly placed and barbarically brutal. The guitars are a tasteful combination of black metal and death metal. And although the riffage is bathed in the murky waters of dissonance, they remain memorable, which isn’t an easy task to achieve in this genre. Lastly, the drums sound fucking fantastic. Both in performance and the recording.
Oculus have won me over. Favorite track: Void Of Turmoil.
